Biography

Isaac Brock is from Issaquah, Washington. His band, Modest Mouse, was formed in 1993 and originally included himself as guitar/vocals, Eric Judy as bass, and Jeremiah Green on drums. They practiced their music in a shed Isaac built next to his mother's trailer; it was called "The Shed"... Modest Mouse released several albums, "Modest Mouse" in 1994, "This is a Long Drive for Someone With Nothing to Think About" and "Interstate 8" in 1996, "The Fruit that Ate Itself" and "The Lonesome Crowded West" (their breakthrough album) in 1997. "The Moon and Antarctica" came out in 1999 with "Building Something out of Nothing". In 2001, they released "Everywhere and His Nasty Parlor Tricks" and a 'lost-album' known as "Sad Sappy Sucker" (An album released by K Records, which was intended to be Modest Mouse's debut) In 2002, Isaac worked on a side-project called "Ugly Casanova", which came from a deranged fan by the name of Ugly Casanova.
