Maxi's long journey to Hollywood began when he left his small suburban city in 1986 and moved to Moscow for study as he past stringent admission test in the most prestigious Aircraft and Rocket Design University in former Soviet Union. As political crisis escalated and situation in Russia heated up so much needed fight for democratic reforms reached its high point Max as young and progressive thinking member of society couldn't stay indifferent and emerges in students political activities to support democratic movement in Russia which ultimately leads to serious problems with college management and government so when political crisis riches its ultimate point and Soviet Union collapses in 1991, Max uses short window of opportunity to escape and in search of freedom and new life he comes to America.
