Biography

David Broza was born in Haifa, Israel, but grew in England and Spain, where he began to sing. Then he moved to USA to work as a literature teacher. He lived in Spain till 1975 and then he returned a few years ago because he likes living here. In Madrid, David met most of the singers of his time (Joaquín Sabina, Joan Manuel Serrat, e.g.), but the one that he followed was Javier Ruibal. They became very close friends. In 1998, David had a road accident that caused problems with his left arm,so in 1999 he came to see Javier Ruibal, who gave him two songs to be played with guitar and told him that these songs would help him to recover. He has three CDs in Spanish (Isla Mujeres, Parking Completo and Todo o Nada). Now he's playing very well and has no problems with his arm. He lives five days a week in Israel and two in Spain.
