James Heaphy

Jim Heaphy was born in Queens, New York. He Currently (2021) Lives in Auckland New Zealand. He has worked on several projects since moving to New Zealand, including Auckward Love, Touch Wood, AFK as well as a Noel Leeming Christmas ad for electronics. He is a former NYPD Detective with 20 years of law enforcement experience. He retired from the NYPD in 2003 to pursue his acting career. He has enjoyed success on the Stage as well as in Television and Film. Jim's first role was as a Detective in the film 10th & Wolf directed by Robert Moresco and can be seen in Abel Ferrera's latest film, "Welcome to New York" where he plays NYPD Detective Fitzgerald opposite Gerard Depardieu. He wrapped on his forth season as a core Police Officer (2017) working on Fox's "Gotham". Jim is a very energetic person who loves his life and is passionate about his career.
