Biography

Stephen Neal is a versatile actor/director and educator based in South Florida. He has appeared in Miami Vice, Wise Guys and has been cast in many of South Florida's best professional theatre productions, three of which earned Carbonell nominations for Best Ensemble. Favorites include Ross in The Goat, at GableStage, George in That Championship Season at Palm Beach Dramaworks and Shaw in Twain and Shaw Do Lunch at New Theatre. Stephen was a New Theatre Company Member and was featured in their Shakespeare series, where he played 18 characters in 13 productions: roles as varied as Malvolio in Twelfth Night, Cassius in Julius Caesar and most notably, Prospero in The Tempest. Directing favorites include The Taming of the Shrew, Mikado, Fiddler on the Roof, Oklahoma!, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Steve Martin's The Underpants, James Sherman's Affluenza! and The Gospel According to Jerry.
