Biography

Born Clyde Edward Goins on December 7th, 1980, in Los Angeles, California, he is an actor known for Coach Carter (2005), Woman Thou Art Loosed (2005) Working with notable actor Samuel L Jackson. Goins grew up amidst the middle-classes, his mother Ruthie devoted housewife and full-time mother and his father a man with many titles, Dr. Brian D. Goins a decorated Christian minister, Chaplin, along with owning a pest control company. Later opening "Chaplain's Real Bar-B-Que" restaurant. The seventh of eight children, Clyde was a bright child, constantly playing upon his natural charm. A habit in which, while attending Canyon Springs High School earned him the name "dimples". His upbringing would see him experience many different social circles. His neighborhood was half populated by white and black, and close by was a strongly Muslim area.
