Demetrios Kalkanis

Demetrios Kalkanis is an American actor of Greek descent. He first appeared on television working opposite Sarah Jessica Parker and Candice Bergen on the hit HBO series, Sex and the City. Demetrios is a Meisner-trained actor having studied the method in both Manhattan and Los Angeles. He has worked in theater, independent film, TV, and commercials, and has been photographed by Albert Watson for GQ (Italy). Demetrios studied Political Science and Economics at Northeastern University in Boston. In his early years, Demetrios lived in Massachusetts and Ohio. As a teenager and young adult he spent time living in Greece, Spain, Italy and Germany. Throughout the years he has found confidence in sports and in the arts. To this day, he continues to hone his skills as an actor and is driven by his love of acting.
