Katherine Hynes

Katherine Hynes grew up in rural Australia where she was crowned her town's "Jacaranda Festival Queen". She came to professional acting after successful careers as a Sydney radio announcer/journalist, Travel Channel TV host and Award Winning TV documentary maker. As a talented communicator, she's been Spokesperson for Rupert Murdoch's News Limited and Australian Communications giant Telstra Bigpond. In 2006 she relocated to Los Angeles with her TV director husband Ian Stevenson and their two children. Booking national and international TV commercials (eg Walmart, Becks Beer, and Franklin Templeton Investments), she soon attracted film & TV roles. Katherine Hynes has worked with leading Hollywood directors including Marcus Nispel (Friday the 13th (2009),and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003)) and Harald Zwart (The Pink Panther 2 (2009) and Agent Cody Banks (2003) She has just completed production on horror film Aleta: Vampire Mistress (2012) with Chinese martial arts actress 'Ange Maya'
