Maya Hawke

Maya Hawke is an American actress, singer, and model, best known for playing Robin Buckley in the series Stranger Things. The daughter of actors Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, she began her career as a model for various brands, but the artistic environment eventually led her to acting. She attended summer programs at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York. She studied acting for a year at Juilliard before dropping out after being cast in her debut role in the BBC’s Little Women (2017). She made her film debut in Ladyworld (2018). After gaining recognition in Stranger Things (2019–present), which earned her a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress, she appeared in titles such as Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019), Do Revenge (2022), Asteroid City (2023), Wildcat (2023), directed by her father, The Kill Room (2023), and Maestro (2023). In 2024, she voiced the character Anxiety in Inside Out 2. Maya is emerging as a versatile artist, with a growing interest in expanding her work across other creative fields.
