Steve Troop

Steve Troop left animation in 1992 to become the creator of one of the first webcomics in 1996. "Melonpool," which ran from 1996-2016 - and may come back at any moment. The comic featured characters that Troop eventually built as puppets for appearances at conventions to promote the comics. Eventually, he started designing puppets professionally and drew professionally more as a puppeteer than he ever did as a cartoonist. Recently, he's been drawing comics and puppets about his dog, Tilly and working as a freelance storyboard artist, puppet builder and puppeteer for movies and film.
