Biography

Charlie Peacock, born Charles William Ashworth in Yuba City, California, is a Nashville-based, (4x) Grammy® Award-winning record producer, composer, singer-songwriter, and jazz musician. Peacock has had major pop hits in three decades - Amy Grant's "Every Heartbeat" (1991), Switchfoot's "Dare You to Move" (2002), and The Civil Wars' Gold debut album, Barton Hollow (2011). He also produced the #1 Billboard Pop debut, The Civil Wars (2013), featuring his co-write, "The One That Got Away." Charlie has had three decades of TV syncs for his songs and productions, from the TV series FAME in the 1980s to the 2017 finale of CMT's Nashville. Also, he is the producer and co-composer of the title theme for AMC Network's TURN: Washington's Spies (4 seasons). Film credits include A Walk to Remember, Something Borrowed, Hot Pursuit. Additionally, Charlie produced the Chris Cornell and Joy Williams duet for the 12 Years A Slave Soundtrack Album on Columbia Records, Executive Produced by John Legend
