Biography

A native of Merritt, NC, Kelvin graduated from Pamlico County High School, and then he attended the University of Maryland Eastern Shore for a semester, before transferring to North Carolina A & T in the Spring of 1980 on a full football scholarship. This college superlative was not only a great student and athlete, but he was also the president of the Student Union Advisory Board. Kelvin's a man of many talents, developed and produced school Fashion Shows and graduated with a degree in Occupational Safety and Health. As Kelvin aspired to embark on his career goals, with Football being at the top of the list, he was guided to Washington, DC, where most of his family still resides. He attended a couple of workout football camps, attracting brief interest from Green Bay, as well as Detroit, but interest soon faded into a brief stint with a minor league football team, the Washington Stonewalls.
