Steve Buckwalter

Biography

Steve Buckwalter grew up loving movies; obsessively watching older films on Laserdisc, watching 90s blockbusters in packed theaters and eagerly reading American Cinematographer magazine every month when it came out in the bookstore. Now he is a cinematographer known for I Heard the Bells (2022) as well as Brave the Dark (2021). His documentary work includes award winning feature Until 20 (2015), and the TV series '16 for '16: The Contenders (2016) and Dismantling Democracy (2019).
