Born in Syracuse New York whereas Calvin Dean was raised by his mother as his father passed away 4 months before his birth. Calvin Dean has a brother "William" who is a jazz musician in Montreal Canada and two half sisters Marion who lives in New York and Linda who lives in Chicago. . Calvin Dean started his career as a model in New York City with the Ford Agency and played professional baseball in the minor leagues for 4 1/2 years. Calvin Dean's injuries forced him to stop playing baseball at the professional level. Finally Calvins love for the theatre began instantly when he finished his college life at Tisch School Of The Arts (University in New York City, New York). Next step was to head West to Los Angeles.
