Scott Hettrick

Scott Hettrick created the DVD Exclusive Awards and was producer of the December 2003 primetime special on FX from Dick Clark Prods. The home entertainment editor of Daily Variety, editor-in-chief of Video Business, syndicated columnist for Tribune/L.A. Times, and former reporter at The Hollywood Reporter, is also the founder of Hollywood trade magazine DVD Exclusive. Hettrick, a frequently featured industry expert on TV programs and in national newspapers, has coined and helped popularize now-common terms in the industry such as "Digital Video Recorder (DVR)" and "Video Premiere movies" / "DVD Premiere movies."
