Biography

Simon Veredon grew up in the theater during the modern dance movement of 1970s Germany, of which both his parents were a part. At 16 he started acting professionally at the Theater Der Keller, in his home town Cologne, Germany, while at the same time pursuing music as a singer/writer in a popular local band. Eager to experience more of the world, Simon eventually moved to Boston (by way of New Zealand where he completed his high school diploma) and attended Boston University where he studied acting, directing and playwrighting in a four year conservatory style program culminating in a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1993. That year, Simon wrote and directed the play 'Sarah' for the Boston Playwright's Festival. Deemed by peers "the birth of a new genre in theater", this play incorporated hip hop dance elements as well as original music which he composed.
