Jeff Gurwood

Jeff Gurwood is a Los Angeles based writer, director and stop-motion animator. He is responsible for the popular animated shorts Covert Operatives (2000), Indyanimation (2011) and Last Randy Standing (2008). Jeff's award winning stop-motion animated films have been viewed by over 1.5 million people and have been featured at the Hollywood Reporter, Entertainment Weekly as well as hundreds of websites worldwide. His short, Indyanimation was even showcased on two Japanese variety shows. Jeff has developed projects for Lionsgate, Syfy, MTV, Cartoon Network, History Channel, Licht Mueller, Whatnot Entertainment, 5x5 Media and is currently (2021) developing an animated project with Global Goblin Animation. Born in Philadelphia and raised in NJ, Jeff achieved his Eagle Scout award at age 15 and graduated from Ithaca College with a bachelors degree in Cinema and Photography. Jeff is also an accomplished photographer, graphic designer and songwriter. He loves collecting movie and pop culture
