Biography

Lancelot Narayan was born in London, England (in front of a television playing 'Queenie's Castle', to be precise) in 1968. He worked for the Ministry Of Defence for 13 years, before being fired for 'gross misconduct'. Said Lance of his sacking, "It's almost impossible to sack a civil servant. But I thought, if I can do that, I can do anything!" And anything he did: Writing for film magazines and newspapers, including The Times and The Daily Telegraph as well as organising PR for James Bond events. His friendship with Graham Rye, editor of OO7 Magazine lead to him organising publicity for OO7 Magazine and JBIFC Events. Lance also served as Contributing Editor for OO7 Magazine and OO7 Newsletter, adding an irreverent voice to all things Bond. It was in 2001 that Lance, along with Matthew Field created the special features for Paramount Pictures DVD release of The Italian Job. Lance never looked back. He went on to co-produce and direct the features for the Zulu DVD and his magnum opus
