Luke Rex

Dr. Luke Rex earned his doctorate in psychology from Pepperdine University in 2022. He is one of the leading group facilitators in Los Angeles for youth struggling with mental health and substance use disorders, combining gestalt, psychodrama, experiential, and performing arts acting techniques. Dr. Rex has a diploma in acting from The Sydney Acting School and also conducted formal training at The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York. He was a proud teacher to teens at The Young Actors Studio for 7 years in North Hollywood before embarking on his newfound career in outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and residential treatment settings, focused on individual and group psychological work for teens and adults. His short film, "Bonding" (where he interestingly plays the role of a psychologist) marks his directorial debut.
