Biography

Eli King is an Australian born actor and singer of Egyptian descent, living in Los Angeles. King has acted in roles for Australian film, television, and stage such as "Cedar Boys", "Heartbreak High", and "Where's My Money?" by John Patrick Shanley. His music was also played on commercial radio across the country. He began study at the University of Technology in Sydney in Electrical Engineering, however acting was always the calling. A fortuitous encounter led him to his acting teacher and mentor Annie Swann, with whom he studied the Stella Adler technique. He continued his acting study at Uta Hagen's HB Studio in New York, and after three years, he returned to Sydney. He's the middle child between an older sister and younger brother. His father, now retired, was a general practitioner doctor for 40 years in Sydney, and his mother, an electrical engineer and mathematics teacher. She also pursued acting during her school and college years, performing numerous times on stage.
