Biography

Born in Perth Western Australia - Myles was always fascinated with film and television, and started performing at a very young age. He went on to train as an actor at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) graduating in 1997. Upon graduation Myles moved to Sydney to pursue a career in acting. It wasn't long however before he became more interested in the other side of the camera, and soon found himself directing self produced short films. These led to a career as a freelance editor, and then in 2004 he began a career as a commercial director. Myles has since directed and edited countless commercials. He has directed dozens of music videos, for which he has received back to back nominations for best music video at the CMAA Awards in 2008, 2009 & 2010. In 2005 he was awarded an AFC internship as Darren Ashton's Director's attachment on the feature film "Razzle Dazzle", and in 2010 he completed his first 1 hour documentary "A Very Short War" which he co-directed with
