Biography

Neasa Hardiman began her career with a Double First from the National College of Art and Design Ireland. Her visionary student work won her a postgraduate scholarship to Berlin's Universitaet der Kuenste, where she studied creative film, completing a Masters in Aesthetics and Politics. With Ireland's public service broadcaster RTÉ, she designed the current logo before producing and directing award-winning documentaries, then became the youngest director of the broadcaster's flagship drama. Neasa further honed her visual and narrative skills by writing and directing original theatre, in addition to earning a PhD in Film Theory from Trinity College Dublin. With her strong cinematic sensibility and her distinctive academic formation, Neasa moved quickly to international prominence, developing a multi-award-winning global career in film and in television drama.
