"Once upon a time in a far away realm, a little princess was born. She was as pretty as a beautiful dawn so they called her Aurora. (Ring-a-ling)" Repeating the stories of Cinderella and The Sleeping Beauty once and again, Yvonne Caro Caro discovered her passion for acting. With her parents' support, she took advantage of every single extracurricular activity at school to channel her artistry. Watching this little girl run around the countryside her hometown in Puerto Rico -- from home to school, from school to practice and from practice to her grandmother's house -- one could make out an histrionic aura around her. While completing her BA at the University of Puerto Rico in 1990, she was cast in her first professional production as The Elf, a role created by the director for the mis en scene of Cyrano de Bergerac.
