Kasper Collin

Kasper Collin is a Swedish documentary filmmaker, director, producer and writer. Between 1998 and 2005 he directed and produced the critically acclaimed documentary "My Name Is Albert Ayler", which was released in the UK and US in 2007 and according to Metacritic is the third best reviewed documentary from that year - Sight & Sound said the film was "A triumph ... turning Ayler's short turbulent life into a compelling narrative," while The New Yorker praised it as "...remarkable... offers magical moments of a madeleine-like power...a cause for rejoicing" and JazzTimes dubbed the title "one of the most starkly beautiful and moving documentaries ever made about a jazz musician."
