Justin Roiland

Mark Justin Roiland is an American animator, voice actor, writer, producer and director whose career began in the early 2000s when he moved to Los Angeles and joined the collective Channel 101, collaborating on short films and sketch projects. Over time, he co-created the animated sitcom Rick and Morty alongside Dan Harmon, serving also as its voice actor, co-writer and executive producer. He later co-created Solar Opposites, voicing its lead character. In addition to his television work, he founded the animation studio Solo Vanity Card Productions! and the game studio Squanch Games. His path shows a progression from experimental short film to mainstream adult animation and interactive media, underpinned by self-driven entrepreneurial efforts and close creative partnerships.
