Biography

Robin began his career in 1965, and has appeared in repertory throughout the U.K. He made his West End debut, in 1969, in Eric Porter's production of My Little Boy My Big Girl. As a member of the Peter Hall Company he appeared in The Rose Tattoo with Julie Walters and Ken Stott and played Phipps in An Ideal Husband. Other productions include, Alan Ayckbourn's House And Garden at the National Theatre, Agatha Christie's Murder At The Vicarage, Somerset Maugham's The Constant Wife, Peter Hall's USA tour of As You Like It, and Mary Kenny's first play Allegiance, with Michael Fassbender and Mel Smith at The Assembly rooms in Edinburgh. In 2008 he played Morten Kiil in Ibsen's An Enemy Of The People at the Arcola Theatre and in 2010 and 2011 he played a trio of parts in End Of The Rainbow at the Trafalgar Studios.
