Lorraine Hodgson

Lorraine was born in Lancashire England. Her passion for acting started at an early age, when she loved to watch classic black and white movies. She studied drama at high school, before attending performing arts college in, Blackpool, and the prestigious drama school Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Webber was renowned for its classical and voice training. After graduating, Lorraine performed in various plays on the fringe circuit in London. She gave a powerful performance in the play Glass Hearts, by the award winning writer David Spencer. Over the years she has worked on several independent films, one to mention 'Dying & Other Superpowers' was selected for 10 international film festivals including Cannes. As well as her theatre and film roles she is known for playing Ann McIntyre in the British soap opera Coronation Street, her other TV credits include EastEnders, Holby City, No Angels to name just a few. She has also appeared in Various TV commercials along the way
