Biography

Born in San Diego, California to a Navy father, by age six Tony had also called Texas, Alabama, Rhode Island and Virginia home. Tony would spend most of his years living the State of Missouri. He attended Camdenton High School, then later Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. While attending SMSU, he was a Speech & Theater major, doing technical work (lighting, set construction, running crew) for productions such as Company, Godspell and Madwoman Of Chaiott; cast members included actors Al Corley and Gracie Harrison. He graduated SMSU in May 1981. Tony married Casey Nossaman in October 1980 and has a son Christoper (b. 8 January 1985) and daughter Laura (b. 17 December 1986). The couple divorced in March 2000. Tony was a historic site administrator for the Missouri State Park system for 17 years (1983-2000), and was Director of the Delta Blues Museum from June 2000 through February 2003.
