Biography

Joe Amato was on the air when he was 15 years old! He was a DJ working for his hometown radio station. He joined AFTRA when he was 19 working for a big radio station in Boston. Out of Emerson College he became a TV news sports anchor and stayed on the air in that capacity for 25 years. Joe worked in Texas and Louisiana (New Orleans), Hartford and New York. Joe was then stopped by a model agent in Manhattan's Union Square and was told they were looking for sharp suited men for commercial print campaigns. Joe went on to appear many times in magazines like Fortune and Time as an international traveler or entrepreneur. He started booking a number TV commercials, films and internet projects in New York City using his authoritative and alternate comedic presence to play detectives, football coaches, news anchors, clueless scientists and frat boy dads.
