Guy Davidi

Guy Davidi, was born In Jaffa to a Jewish family. He grew up in Holon South of Tel Aviv, Israel. When he was 10 years old his father died and the family moved to Kfar-Saba, North of Tel Aviv. In his high school years he studied cinema course and started making short films. In the age of 19 he refused doing his obligatory military service in the Israeli Army after being enrolled for 3 months. In the years 2000-2002 he was a cinema teacher in a High School in Tel Aviv. In 2000 he studied one year in Tel Aviv University Cinema School and dropped out. From 2002-2003 he lived in Paris and speaks French. After coming back to Israel he started working as cameraman with documentary filmmakers. From 2003 he became engaged with the Israeli branch of Indymedia and filmed many Video Reports and short documentaries about Israel social and Political issues, many of the documentaries were filmed in the Palestinian Occupied territories, dealing with the Israeli Occupation.
