Xabi Molia

Born in Bayonne in the Basque Country, Xabi Molia graduated in literature and has since shared his talent between writing (in 2014, he is the author of four novels, two collections of poems and a scenario for a comic strip) and cinema. As a director, he has to this day made one short, two fiction features (8 Times Up (2009) and The Conquerors (2013)) and a documentary ('Le terrain', 2014). The two feature films he directed, although exploring the a priori off-putting theme of failure, reveal an engaging offbeat personality.
