Biography

Bela started his acting career as a child. At the age of 11, he played a young thief in Germany's most successful and longest-running crime series "Tatort" ("Crime scene"). He made further appearances as an actor, for instance, in Caroline Link's movie "Nirgendwo in Afrika" ("Nowhere in Africa"). The film, made in 2001, was based on an autobiographical novel by Stefanie Zweig and won the Oscar for "Best Foreign Language Film" in 2002, as well as five german Movie Awards. At 16 years of age, during his training as an actor at the "Internationale Schule für Schauspiel und Acting" ("International School for Drama and Acting") in Munich, Bela Klentze became a star of the german Disney Channel. He played the main role of Moritz ("Mo") in the sitcom "Disney's Kurze Pause" ("Disney's Short Break"). Furthermore he worked for Disney in the US!
