The Odds Are Good, But The Goods Are Odd. That's what every Alaskan woman says about the search for a husband in the Last Frontier. That could also be said of writer and actress Racheal Seymour. Born in a stilt house overhanging the ocean in Pacifica, California, but raised in a "dry cabin" built on an unincorporated patch of tundra in Alaska's interior, Racheal's upbringing, tastes, and spirit could hardly be called normal. Playtime was running on all fours with her sled dogs as no other kids lived nearby. When she first had an opportunity to pick a sport in high school, she lettered on the boy's football team.
