Biography

Born in the San Francisco Bay Area, Teddy Chen combines athleticism and smarts, earning a Collegiate Baseball Scholarship and attending the Ivy League's Cornell University. He discovered a love of acting, moved to LA, studied in Larry Moss's Masterclass, and starred in roles on stage and TV including HOUSE, THE EVENT, LAW AND ORDER: LA, FLASH FORWARD and currently recurring on GENERAL HOSPITAL. On NETFLIX, he plays the lead role of "Elliot" in the hit independent feature film EAT WITH ME, co-starring George Takei and MADtv's Nicole Sullivan. As a Writer and Director, Teddy won GRAND PRIZE in CAPE's Digital Shorts Contest for his screenplay THE BOXER, awarding funding for his directorial debut. He completed two Martial Arts films. In addition to writing, directing, editing, and starring in the films, Teddy hired a renowned Action Director to personally train him and choreograph the Martial Arts scenes.
