Biography

Trenyce was born Lashundra Treniese Cobbins on March 31, 1980, to Jesse and Linda Cobbins. It didn't take Trenyce's parents long to realize that their daughter was very gifted. While still just a toddler at the age of four, she began singing jingles she heard on the television and radio. Trenyce became a shining star and was recognized as such at every level of schooling from grade school, to Junior high school, to high school. She constantly displayed her singing talent while competing in local talent shows and school pageants, even winning the title of "Miss Sophomore" and "First Alternate" to Miss Junior at Central High School. After high school, Trenyce attended the University of Memphis, on a full music scholarship and further developed her talent as part of the school's "University Singers" organization and "Sound Fuzion", a University band that toured the state of Tennessee performing in different venues and displaying a wide array of musical genres.
