Evaldo Mocarzel

Journalist, filmmaker, and playwright born in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, in 1960. He graduated in cinema and journalism from Universidade Federal Fluminense, studied cinema at the New York Film Academy, and holds a PhD in Arts from the School of Communications and Arts (ECA) at the University of São Paulo. He was a member of theater director Antunes Filho's Playwrights' Circle at CPT for four years. He was editor of Caderno 2, a supplement to the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo.
