Biography

Andrew grew up in Belmont, a suburb of Boston, MA, where as a teenager he dabbled in music, stage magic, and ventriloquism. He split his undergraduate years at Harvard between creating and performing theatre pieces and satisfying his honors academic work. Upon graduation, he moved to NYC to pursue his acting and writing career, initially focusing on stage work, taking three years off at one point to earn his MFA in Acting from UNC-Chapel Hill. Notable recent New York and Regional Theatre performances in his long stage career include: the Fool in King Lear, Polonius in Hamlet, Charlie in the award-winning 30th Anniversary revival of The Foreigner, Vanya in Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, Jim Casy in The Grapes of Wrath, Clown (15 roles) in The 39 Steps, Vladimir in Waiting for Godot, all 35 roles in I Am My Own Wife, Bazzard in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and the mysterious Eric Finch in the national tour of the stage version of the classic TV series Cheers.
