Ari Zagaris

Ari Zagaris is a recent transplant to Los Angeles from his hometown neighborhood of the Haight/Ashbury in San Francisco. The son of model Kristin Sundbom and sports/ rock'n'roll photographer Michael Zagaris, Ari spent most of his childhood following his father around from the clubhouse of the Oakland A's to the backstage dressing room of The Clash. As a result, his life was a wash of sports and the arts and Ari spent most of his childhood trying to decide whether his life would be spent on the stage or on the playing field. In high school he had to choose between baseball and the arts. Thanks to a heavy sinker and a nasty forkball, baseball won out and the arts were put on hold until a later date. Despite being unable to perform in any school productions, Ari managed to squeeze in classes at A.C.T. before leaving for college on a baseball scholarship.
