Biography

Born in 1985, Audrey de Montigny is a talented singer discovered on the popular TV show, Canadian Idol. In this program, she finished fourth, behind Billy Klippert, Gary Beals and Ryan Malcolm. She was born in a small municipality North Montreal in Quebec, Canada, called Ste-Julienne as the second daughter of Louise and Jean de Montigny, following her only sibling, older sister Maude. Audrey started singing at the young age of 5. She performed at her high school, of Havre-Jeunesses, and for the ill children of Enfants Soleil. Doesn't matter the cause, when she sings, Audrey does it with all her heart and a lot of determination. Before participating in Canadian Idol, Audrey didn't really speak English, however, she was able to sing like a pro in Shakespeare's language! Her first single was called Même les anges.
