Soren Hellerup

Soren Hellerup's body of work has moved to a whole other level in Brazil, working on major film and television project, directed by some of the best directors like Hector Babenco, Daniel Rezende, Lais Bodanzky, Flavio Federico, Rodrigo Meirelles, Carlos Alberto Riccelli, Sergio Machado, Afonso Poyart, Andre Felipe Binder, Michel Tikhomiroff, João Paulo Miranda Maria among others. Soren was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. Got his M.A. from the National Drama School, Copenhagen in 1982. In 1985 Soren received various scholarships and began at H.B. Studio in New York City with teachers like Bill Hickey, Helen Gallagher and Aaron Frankel. In 1998 Soren relocated to Los Angeles. Besides doing film and television, Soren has also been working on a number of theater productions there. In 2013 Soren Hellerup moved to Sao Paulo, Brazil, where he is now working also as a director, producer and teacher.
