Biography

Carolyn Reese Crotty is from Omaha, Nebraska, the youngest of six children. While in Nebraska, Carolyn studied singing with the famous cabaret singer, the late Julie Wilson. She started her career at StageDoor Manor in upstate New York, under the tutelage of Jack Romano and Mark Saks. Carolyn was up for the feature film "Cider House Rules," leading to a meeting with John Irving, but the film ended up being delayed for 10 years. She was runner up for the series ER. She is best known for her work on Ryan Murphy's "The People v O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story," as Mrs. Lance Ito (Peggy York). Carolyn resides in Los Angeles, where she has performed in countless plays. She is a graduate of UCLA with a degree in Women's Studies and English.
