Biography

Lizzy Calhoun is a film & television editor based in Los Angeles. Lizzy started out in Chicago at Kartemquin Films, working on the documentary "Stevie" with director, Steve James. The film was nominated for various awards including the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance & the Independent Spirit Awards in 2003. Lizzy edited the documentary "Dragonslayer" which won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Documentary & Best Cinematography at SXSW Film Festival in 2011. She was also nominated for Best Editing at Cinema Eye Honors that same year. Lizzy was an assistant editor on the Oscar nominated David O. Russell feature "The Fighter." She has also worked on comedies including "Flight of the Conchords", "Hung" & "Ugly Betty." She was an additional editor on the Martin McDonagh feature "Seven Psychopaths." In recent years, Lizzy edited 4 seasons of "Nashville" on ABC, "American Horror Story" on FX, "Animal Kingdom" on TNT, the RuPaul comedy "AJ & the Queen" & 2 seasons of "Lucifer" for Netflix.
