Biography

Originally from Littleneck, New York, Vincent LoRusso attended Michigan State University and New York University. Vincent met actors Carl Tarcangeli and Sergio Cacciotti at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in 1994. In August 1996, they decided to start their own company and began scouring midtown for a gritty, affordable space to host experimental theater. They eventually invested in the renovation of Triple Treat Theatre/Show World, a former strip club at Eighth Ave. and 42nd St. in New York City. It was here that Vincent and his partners co-founded Pantheon Productions, their fledgling Off-Off-Broadway theater company offering "wild, electric, high-energy theater." Pantheon's first show was Jeffrey Sweet's "Responsible Parties." During the rest of 1998-99 season, the company made its mark with a series of short-run dramas, farces and dark comedies.
