Farnaz Samiinia is in the process of making her second feature film - a crime, horror,thriller. Farnaz had the opportunity to broaden her horizons by working for Sony Pictures Studios in Post-production for the last nine years and has developed her professional expertise by getting involved with some internal projects for the company which enabled her to grow in her knowledge and skills tremendously. "Blood Moon," one of her shorts, was completed and premiered in February of 2012 in Novak Theater at Sony Pictures Studios. "Plot 7," her first feature length movie, a horror/thriller, was premiered in October of 2007 at the Leammle Theaters and shortly after showcased on SyFy Channel. Farnaz also directed and edited her other successful short films such as "Body of Work," screened at the Newport Beach Film Festival in 2005 which also was nominated for the best short category at the Canadian Female Eye Film Festival in 2006. "Matthew 10:28" and "Butterfly," also some of her other short
