Jake E. Lee

Jake E. Lee is an American guitarist and songwriter. He began playing guitar in his early teens, influenced by Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath, and Led Zeppelin. After performing in several San Diego bands, he moved to Los Angeles, joining and briefly recording with established acts before being recruited by a major heavy metal solo artist, contributing to two studio albums. Lee later formed his own bands, including a blues-based hard rock project in the late 1980s and a new band in 2013, releasing two albums by 2018. He has also released solo works and appeared on musical tributes and collaborations throughout his career. Lee survived a shooting incident in 2024.
