Biography

Ever since he was selected to run with Daniel Day-Lewis as one of the core reenactors in Last of the Mohicans (1992) Tony Gerard has worked with a number of television series and period shows as a re-enactment coordinator and associate producer, including popular History Channel shows such as "In Search of History" and "Monsterquest." Tony's skill in period pieces and the ability to make it work even on the most limited of budgets has led to crew positions on a number of independent features and has served as a fixer, picture car wrangler and location scout. A college biology instructor at Shawnee Community College in Ullin, Illinois, he's also appeared before the camera as an on-air expert. His affinity for the reptile inhabitants of Southern Illinois has allowed him to serve as animal wrangler for "Dig Two Graves" and "Burning Kentucky." Tony is married and father of twin boys. He lives in Southern Illinois.
