Biography

Sprague started his professional acting career at the age of 18 with his debut in summer stock at renowned Hampton Playhouse in NH. From there his work took him to Washington, D.C., Boston, New York and ultimately Los Angeles. Along the way he studied with Lee Strasberg, Mark Rydell and Ada Mather-Brown to name a few. As you can read in his resume, he has appeared in multiple films and television shows. During his television work in Los Angeles, in the mid '90s, Sprague took a "part time" job on a documentary. 25 years and two Emmys later Sprague recently returned to his first passion, acting... but not before setting some extraordinary, exploration history. In 2009 he and a small crew found and successfully navigated the Arctic's ship-killing Northwest Passage on a 57' boat. His second Emmy award winning documentary, "THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ICE", was the result of this five month trip through the high Arctic.
