Geoff Harris

Geoff Harris is an award-winning director of some of the UK's most high profile and highly regarded TV dramas. He is now producing and directing a number of US set feature films in his favourite genre - psychological thriller. His TV work, quickly secured his reputation for making visually stylish and cinematic films, with natural, strong performances, on series including London's Burning, The Knock, Dream Team and Soldier Soldier with Dougray Scott and James Nesbitt. To gain a deeper understanding of how actors work, he studied 'The Art And Craft Of Acting' a Stanislavski based technique, encompassing elements of psychology and philosophy, which gave him the tools to help actors create characters of depth and complexity. As a kid, Geoff's earliest influence was the film Mary Poppins.
