Darren K. Hawkins

Darren was born in Parramatta, an outer suburb of Sydney Australia. He attended Northmead High School (now a performing arts high school), studying during his time art, music and drama. During his time there he was a part of a Shakespeare review, playing the role of Hamlet, made the school representative teams in basketball, Rugby league and Rugby Union and had his year 12 art work represent in "Art Express". Playing in bands since the age of 15, he continued to pursue a career in music until the late 1990's . Changing path's, tho continuing to perform, he began working as an actor, taking various bit part and extras roles before landing his first professional job in the docu-drama , Something About AJ (2002) , principle photography in December-February period of 2000 - 2001. Darren soon after began to land other acting jobs, varying from roles in short film projects, stage productions, independent and studio films as well as US TV pilots.
