Katherine Renee Cortez is her union name - Kathy's friends call her "Kathy." Television roles include investigator Kathy Perales in "Parco P.I.," appearances as the State Nurse Rivera on "As the World Turns," and the recurring role of Carmen on both "All My Children" and "One Life to Live." Favorite stage productions include "The A-Train (Re) Plays"(Playwrights Horizons), "Alphabet City," (Metropolitan Playhouse), and "The Laramie Project" (Gallery Players), where she played several roles, including Rebecca Hiliker and Reggie Fluty.
